The Woden School has a strong Physical Education program involving sporting organisations from across the ACT. In particular Special Olympics often visit the school and involve students in sporting activities such as gymnastics, tennis, soccer and more. This creates a link to the organisation for students to pursue activities with Special Olympics outside school hours.
