Eligible graduating Year 10 students can continue at the Woden Secondary Program. Year 11 and 12 courses have been carefully adapted and modified by teachers to ensure that students are enrolled in relevant and meaningful courses that provide opportunities for success on completion school.
In addition, some students who are eligible to remain at the Woden School may elect to transition to a local college for years 11 and 12. Students can choose to attend any college in Canberra. We ensure supported transition to the local college. Further opportunities to support students in the decision-making about college placements can also be organised. Many of our students have moved successfully on to college settings.
We encourage students to participate in the decision-making process about their transition. We also strongly recommend parents to attend open nights at the college to support transition of your son or daughter.
