The school nominates a Transition Officer each year who visits schools with the Executive teacher to get to know students transitioning in the following year. The purpose of these visits is to gather information to support student transitions.
A number of orientation activities are planned and communicated to prospective students. Parents, carers, teachers, LSAs and students will have a chance to:
- meet staff and students
- navigate the school buildings
- participate in a variety of classroom learning activities
- complete enrolment applications
- discuss ongoing ILP goals and priorities
- order school uniforms
